     Whether you are in anatomy or in AP Biology (or both), I hope your life science experience this year is a positive one, and that these classes will be beneficial to you. As you continue this year of study, remember to keep your eyes and mind open to enjoying and exploring new ideas, new experiences, and new mysteries involving life; by learning, we grow and yet we stay young.

     We at Tazewell High School are excited to be initiating our Content Literacy Continuum this year. For each course unit, students will receive a unit organizer sheet that we will complete as we proceed through our studies. The organizers, along with other CLC learning routines, are designed to boost comprehension and retention of class material.

     Class notes will be available on this website for each chapter throughout the year. I encourage my students to download them for study; inclusion of these notes in course notebooks (along with unit organizers) will also improve that grade as well.
