Your child should be able to write a sentence using capitals and periods.We have also been talking about proper nouns, verbs(action words), helping & linking verbs, subject / predicate, complete & incomplete sentences, ending marks, adjective, comparative adjectives, capitalization, commas, contractions, plurals, compound words, synonyms, antonyms, homophones, & verb agreement. |

**Welcome to Second Grade. Our newsletter is located under Parents. I hope this will help you through the week. Lunch is 11:43-12:13 Resource---Monday---Music Tuesday--Gym Wednesday---Library Thursday----Guidance Friday---Meet in the gym When sending 50 cents for their envelope & stamp, please make sure you also send an updated mailing address. If you want your child to go on the Field Trip (PTA Spring Carnival) on Monday, May 21st, please send in their premission slip. Without the slip they will not be able to go. Last day of school is this Friday, May 25, 2012. We will be getting out 1 & 1/2 hours early. Awards day is on Thursday, May 24 at 12:15. The ice cream sundae party will start after. |
