Letter to Parents from Mrs. Reid

Dear Parents/Guardians,

We want to let you know of our TMS end of the school year activities and invite you to be a part of the celebrations.  Below are vital dates and times of events:

Friday, May 24th – Bark After Dark(parent volunteers are welcome.  Call us to sign up.)
Monday, May 27th – No School – Memorial Day
Friday, May 31st – Early Dismissal (Graduation)

We welcome all family, friends and community to our Awards ceremonies the last week of school in our newly renovated auditorium.  These will be the first TMS Awards ceremonies in the new auditorium.
Monday, June 3rd – 6th Grade Awards (beginning at 8:45am)
Tuesday, June 4th – 7th Grade Awards (beginning at 8:45am)
Wednesday, June 5th – 8th Grade Awards (beginning at 8:45am)

Finally, Thursday, June 6th is Early Dismissal and the Last Day of School.   We will send out information on the start of the next school year and summer plans with the report cards.

Other notes of interest:

• Cheerleading Try-Outs are June 3-4-5.  Students MUST have a new physical to try out. 
• TMS will house groups with the Appalachian Service Project this summer.  If you know of someone living in an unsafe home, contact TMS for an ASP application for assistance.

Free sport physicals are scheduled for May 29th at 6:00 pm at Tazewell Family Physicians.
