At Tazewell High School, we take pride in our academic achievement. Annually, invitations are sent to students who have maintained a 3.5 GPA to join the Jr. Beta Club and the Beta Club/National Honor Society. Teachers use a variety of technological equipment, from the fiber optic classroom to using presentation software instead of a chalkboard, to enhance the learning environment. Every day, students are motivated to excel in the classroom and beyond.
In order to recognize highly motivated students, Tazewell High School has
several chapters of national clubs and organizations. Membership in the
Beta Club, for example, is based solely on academic achievement and community
