Tazewell High School


Junior Beta is the Junior Division of the National Beta Club, a non-profit leadership and service organization for high school students. Founded in 1934, the club's purpose is to stimulate effort, reward achievement, and encourage and assist its members to continue in their education after high school. Qualifications for membership include good character, high aptitude, admirable accomplishments, and commendable attitude.

The Tazewell High School Chapter of the National Beta Club was organized in 1957.   Students of good standing as well as a minimum 3.500 grade point average are eligible to participate. Members are required to participate in club meetings and service projects.
