Tazewell High School
Hall Of Fame

                The Tazewell High School Hall of Fame, while recognizing Tazewell High School graduates and staff shall also serve as a vehicle to establish endowments and raise funds to provide for scholarship awards for future THS graduates to enable them to continue their higher education (whether technical school or job training, community college, junior college, four year college/university or graduate school). THS Hall of Fame scholarships are intended to help deserving students who experience financial need and may not otherwise qualify for academic scholarships, but demonstrate an ability or willingness to succeed in life.

                Nominations are now being accepted to the Hall of Fame inductees for the class of 2010. Nominations will close on March 31, 2010. Plaques with inductees’ name(s), picture(s) and a narrative of their accomplishment(s) will be placed on the Wall of Fame located at Tazewell High School.

Hall of Fame inductees may be nominated and elected posthumously. With regard to nomination for athletic achievement, Hall of Fame nominees must have graduated from THS at least ten (10) years prior to being nominated and elected. With regard to coaches nominated for their accomplishments at THS, they shall not have coached at THS for at least five (5) years prior to nomination and election.
