Students interested in marketing are encouraged to join the Tazewell High School Chapter of DECA. The organization meets on the second Wednesday of every month and promotes young entrepreneurs to develop strong business ethics. DECA conducts various fundraisers throughout the year that allows students to test their marketing ability in the real world. The organization also takes select members to regional, state, and national competition each year.  Nationwide, DECA has approximately 170,000 members.
