TAZEWELL ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

Our Vision

All students will achieve their full potential by actively participating in a challenging educational program that recognizes the uniqueness of each child.  Parents and teachers will participate in a partnership that meets the needs of the total child.

To achieve our vision, the school improvement goals for 2011-2012 are:

-Tazewell Elementary students will meet/exceed state and federal criteria for Reading and Math in May 2012 and reduce office referrals for behavior by 10% by June 2012.

-Objective: Tazewell Elementary School projects to achieve at least an 90% pass rate in Math and an 91% pass rate in Reading on the May 2012 SOL tests.
