What is ESD? Effective Schoolwide Discipline is a pro-active process to develop a learning environment where students and teachers feel appreciated, safe, and respected. Rewards are used to assist faculty/staff in focusing on positive aspects of student behavior and to assist students in making the right choice.
Responsibility, Motivation, and Success Incentive Bucks are awarded for demonstration of Responsibility, Motivation and Success. Students may purchase passes with bucks. Passes may include: “Picnic Pass” - to eat lunch outside with friend of their choice; “Get out of Jail Early” - leave class 3 minutes early; and “Homework Pass” - exempt from homework.. . .

will be eligible to win a prize each Friday.

Criteria for Six Week Incentive Activities:
- Attendance—no more than 3 days absent (3 check in/out equals 1 absence)
- No out of school suspensions
- No Saturday School
- No more than 1 referral resulting in DIS (Detention in School)
**Criteria from previous 6 weeks will not be carried over to the new 6 weeks
Criteria to go on End of Year Reward Trip:
- Attendance: No more than 14 days absent (3 check in/out equals 1 absence)
- No out of school suspension
- No Saturday School
- No more than 3 infractions resulting in DIS (Detention in School)
*There is a financial obligation involved for all reward trips.
**All criteria must be maintained through the end of the 5th Six Weeks
***Circumstances of serious illness verified by a physician will be considered case by case
