DUDLEY PRIMARY SCHOOL
POLICIES


                        ARRIVAL
                    The school day for students begins at 8:10 A.M.  For those students who ride
                    with parents, we ask that they arrive at school no earlier that 7:30 A.M. and
                    no later than 7:55 A. M.  Adult supervision will begin at 7:30 A.M.  If you drop
                    your child off in the morning, please remember not to block the lane of traffic in
                    front of the school.  Please pull over as close to the curb as possible for your
                    child's safety or use the designated parking area across the street from
                    the school building. Please remember our instructional day begins at 8:10 A.M.


                       DISMISSAL
                    Students who ride the bus will be dismissed between 2:40 P.M. and 2:45 P.M.
                    Students who walk or are being picked up will be dismissed at 2:45 P.M.
                    If you are picking your child up, please do so at the designated area.

 

                   VISITORS TO THE SCHOOL
                    All visitors to Dudley Primary must report to the school office and receive
                    permission and visitor badges to be on the school grounds.  No student is
                    to be contacted by any visitor prior to receiving permission from the office
                    of the principal.  Parents are required to "sign out" students from the school office.

 

                        Medication Policies
                    1.  A consent form must be signed before any medication will be given at
                         school.  HANDWRITTEN NOTES ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE.
                         Consent forms are available at the school.
                    2.  ANY medications to be given at school are to be brought to the school
                         by the parent or guardian not by the student.
                    3.  The medication must be in the original container with the child's name on
                         the prescription.  Your pharmacist can divide the the prescription into two
                         bottles-one for home and one for school.
